The Unisphere, at the 1965 World's Fair, Flushing. (Notice what folks considered "casual clothes" back then: ties and dresses!?!?)
Performing at the NY Pavilion, Elaine Fertinger, Kevin Faughey, Madeline Blazys and Enes Perez.
Kevin Faughey at the piano, Nicolas Lamentola conducting at the NY Pavilion.
Brass and woodwinds at NY Pavilion. Ralph Goss (Clarinet and looking cool with "shades") also John Henson, far right Clarinet. Russ Kacin, Alto Sax.
Sister Corde and -- let me guess -- a Flute player ... at the "Habits Of The Future" exhibit.
Brother Benilde and Boys' Glee Club, New York Pavilion.
Joan Robinson, Bill Loskofsky, Anna Podlovits, and Tom Griffin.
Paul Mastrangelo. (Remember the gondola sky ride across the World's fairgrounds?)
Paul, Denis, Elaine, and Bill. Yes, that is in the Ford Pavilion, taking the ride through time. Remember the dinosaurs? They're now in Disneyland, along with Mr. Lincoln.
Ronald Testa, played trumpet -- he was a freshman at the time -- plus Bill, Elaine and Paul.

WebMaster Note: While Mater Christi students gave this concert at the Fair, I (still in elementary school) was a "regular" performer there. A motorized trolley pulled myself and my band (a drummer, and maybe a singer if we were lucky ... and a guitarist, if we were really, really lucky) while I played polkas, Herb Alpert, Petulla Clark and other "popular" songs on the clarinet. No wonder I'm weird!
