The story threads (‘fragments”) you submit must totally be authored by you. Additionally, by submitting a story thread you are giving Al Willen exclusive rights to publish the thread as part of the master story (with you getting acknowledged as the author, of course). A copyright for the entire master story (all iterations of the story) will be taken out by Al Willen as publisher of this collective work.
Submitted story threads must not contain pornographic language or images. They can be as sexually descriptive as any book available for purchase in the fiction department of any major U.S. book retailer.
Al Willen has the right to edit contents of any submitted story thread as he see fit.
All submissions must follow the story theme and interface seamlessly with the end of a previous story fragment. This is not to mean that you are restricted in your evolution of events and characters. In fact the whole purpose of Gods We Be is a rapid evolutionary process of situations. However, solutions to “cliffhangers” must be logical.
When you submit your story thread(s), indicate your name, any “contact” information (i.e. your email address, home phone) that you want included as part of your story. Most importantly, indicate the LINKAGE NUMBER so that we can easily connect your thread to the right story part. (At the end of all story branches, we’ll indicate a LINKAGE NUMBER.)
If you do use HTML coding, please restrict your coding to Italics, Underlining, and new paragraph formatting only. DO NOT USE Bold, larger character sizes, centering, special characters or bullets.
Submissions must be in English language but can come from anywhere in the world.
Because of the potential of massive entries to Gods We Be , the MASTER GODS will only select -- in their sole opinions -- the best 3 stories for any story iteration. No compensations to participants will be given. Participation in Gods We Be is for the joy of writing, and the joy in knowing that millions of people will be reading what you’ve wrote.
Because of time limitations, acknowledgment to participants is not possible. Check in to see if your thread was used.
The story “ends” when it reaches a natural conclusion, or when allotted disk storage exceeds one meg in length.
